"SNL": Fey as Palin funny; the rest not. As usual.
Thank [Shuba] for TiVo. How many times have we all said that? I know this is coming in as a bit redundant given some of the comments on the last post, but so much for the ounce of anticipation I had over the return of "Saturday Night Live" in an election year. I thought the opening skit with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin was as good as I'd hoped it would be in my imagination the day Palin was announced as McCain's VP candidate. The rest? Woeful. Absolutely painful to watch. About the only thing I liked was Andy Samberg doing a beautifully twisted and absurd impression of the "Cathy" comic strip. The rest? It's 90 minutes long for what reason again?
