Review of Andy Samberg and Kenan's I'm Reba
ZOË RICE: Okay, I totally laughed at this. And finally–finally!–I enjoyed watching Kenan Thompson. His pantomime of “hanging like my…” (fill in the blank) made me giggle out loud. Andy Samberg’s raps rarely disappoint. Add a dude in a Reba McEntire wig, and it’s absurd and freaky (in a good way).
STEVE MURPHY: This was funny, but amazingly not as funny as the previous four sketches, which really says something about how good this episode has been before. Not a Samberg classic, but pretty funny. And Kenan manages not to ruin it, which is hard for him.
HOWARD MEGDAL: So that wasn’t really Reba?

ReplyDeletehe's great! and I don't find him annoying at all. maybe they just used him too much lately in the sketches but I never thought that he ruined any of them. I love his new "what up with that?" - it's hillarious!
they are right though in one point. the new digital short was great and andy's raps are fantastic. i love his voice :)
Jennifer, I've found Kenan amusing, but not very funny. I think his funniest stuff is actually from this season... this music video and the "What up with that?" sketches.
