Johanna: Does it migrate to the brain? Is that how someone like Jude Law can still be surprised by paparazzi outside his door? And where did Hugh Grant get that can of beans or whatever he threw at them? Was he grocery shopping? For beans?! And while I'm at it, who was the genius who thought Andy Samberg was ready to carry a movie?? Being clever in two-minute chunks on the Web does not translate into a 90-minute feature.

Victor: Ah yes, that dim, dumb stunt-jumping flick Hot Rod. Which brings to mind the sad passing of Evel Knievel.

I think that's a fair review of Hot Rod. By all acounts, Hot Rod works much better as 1 minute clips to be viewed on the Internet rather than a cohesive movie. We'll have our blog's official review later.

  1. Ooh i don't agree! Some bits are funnier than others, but as a whole, the movie is incredibly funny! It's meant to be chewing gum for the brain! (Plus the soundtrack is quite legendary - bring on the 80's power ballads and hair metal!) I thought it was well acted and a really enjoyable movie... for one thing it had my friend and I crying with laughter at its brilliant randomness...
