Ardy donned his threadbare acting shoes for the Comedy Central Telethon hosted by Stephen Colbert. When asked for comment, Ardy had this to say:

"I decided that it was really important to me to help promote XBox this holiday season, because really, how else was I going to get on camera with Stephen Colbert? I tried to get the other two Dudes involved, but apparantly their hair isn't nearly "wacky" enough for Comedy Central. I suggested hair gel, but the big brass over at CC just laughed and said, 'In this biz, you either got it, or you don't'. At which point I asked, "Wacky hair?' and they responded, 'Yes'. So that's my story!"
