Advice to Eddie Murphy - Get into an Andy Samberg digital short

Advice to Eddie Murphy includes...

Do Saturday Night Live

The reality is, Justin Timberlake has gotten more laughs these past couple years than the former Delirious superstar. If Murphy doesn't want to host an entire show, what about merely appearing in an Andy Samberg digital short? You know the kind -- easily uploaded to YouTube and millions of potential new (and old) fans?

Here's why I'm posting this...

Do you see what's happening here? All the SNL players want to be big movie stars. But now a former SNL player and former big movie star is getting advice to go get into Andy Samberg's skits, like Timberlake is doing.

In other words, Andy's skits are becoming bigger than movies. I know they don't pay as well, but it's proof that Andy and TLI should do their own show and make a more profitable business out of these skits.

Enjoy!

  1. Agreed. Eddie Murphy is an extremely funny comedian. I wish he'd go back to his roots and do his edgy stuff again. I know he's making bank doing all these family films, but I think it seems a bit like he's just selling out and saving for retirement. Which is okay and all, but he's a real funny dude!

His brother is pretty dang funny too! http://www.getyourbasketballon.com/news/#/smith
