Discussion: What Andy Samberg digital short deserves a sequel?

Let's say Andy had to make a sequel to a digital short and that it couldn't be Laser Cats or D*** In A Box. What would it be? Space Olympics? Ras Trent? J*** In My Pants? I'm On A Boat? Extreme Activities Challenge?

Not this one:

And not this one:

Enjoy!

  2. I'm gonna say I'm on a boat, just because everything about that song and vid is awesome... :)

  3. I think maybe Extreme Activities Challenge, mainly because it would be so interesting to see what other challenges and who else would be in it.

  4. Kelsey,

I know what you mean! I still think they could do a sweet sequel to Lazy Sunday! Plus I mean if they got Natalie Portman back for another hardcore rap, then the sky would be the limit! And I'd love to see them do a story song for "Young Chuck Norris." Or they could get Tom Hanks back and follow up Ariel and Efrim. I don't know why that one didn't get as popular.

    Innaj,

Yeah, totally! They'd really have to mix it up though, because so many remakes have been made that it would have to be a story song or something that added more variety to it.

    Anony,

Yeah, but S*** in My Pants has already been done as a "spoof" (more like a remake) a few times by a few different comedy groups, including the Retarded Policeman / Poncemon (we previously posted those vids and actually got to talk to Poncemon about it). So they could still use the sweet characters and clubbing theme, but they'd have to head in a new direction (sort of how Mother Lover went in a new direction).

    Kate,

I agree. Andy could mix up the Extreme Activities Challenge and do it with Abby, one of the new girls, or one of the dudes like Fred, Bill, or Jason. Any combo would pretty much be hilarious!

    Great ideas everyone!
