Andy Samberg in Middle School Kids (SNL)

Middle School Kids

Positive messages from teachers motivate the kids to help Marvin try to walk with a broken knee.

Ouch. This wasn't funny at all. Did you think it was funny?

Check out the very end. It's hard to tell, but it kind of seems like none of them were overly happy when it was over, and Kenan was kind of wanting to get out of there... sort of like they knew how bad it was.

Enjoy?

  1. omg this was the worst one! it kindof reminded me of the scene in glee when artie (kid in the wheelchair) tries to stand up and falls on the ground.
i got really upset because I thought they were making fun of that scene. it was very tasteless.

  2. It seems like one of those ideas where someone picks up on a tv trope, in this case that whole reach for the sky/dream big/empowerment thing in Disney channel shows, but they can't actually make a funny sketch out of it. So it was basically just "hey, you know how on tv the kid in the wheelchair gets to dance at the prom? Totally doesn't happen in real life".

So, what do you think?
