Here Andy Samberg joins Jack Black in remaking an old skit he did for Awesometown. Black did a much better job acting than Jorma did. (To Jorma's credit, he's normally not that wooden.)
Originally done with Jorma. In the original skit, the skin of Glirk was way cooler. However, Andy had the role down by the second one (on Saturday Night Live) and did a better job. Plus the ending of the SNL version is funnier. And the antennae are funnier than the old Glirk design.

oh, wow, I have to disagree with you there. I enjoy Jack Black more than most, but he wasn't half as good as Jorma in this part. Jorma underplayed the part perfectly to offset Andy's wackiness. his terse, perfectly timed replies were much funnier than JB's more obvious acting.
Really? I normally think that Jorma can perform well. I liked him in the Bu and their music video countdowns. Plus all the other Awesometown and Lonely Island stuff. He just seemed very wooden in this role. Jack at least had some energy and interest in the role.
Original is funnier--my favorite line is when Glirk just says "Space Wine" after he makes the drunken proposition. It is way funnier in the original sketch. Note that no one laughs in the SNL audience when he says that. I agree with Anonymous about Black vs. Jorma's acting.
The first one is way funnier, I like glirk in the old form the new alien is not as funny, and its better with no audience laughter, and Jorma was fine you needed someone who looked really not interested he did a great job............space wine..........
The original is def way funnier... Jack Black is not a good actor, and the ending of the snl skit was stupid. Original is always better.

Yeah, the original is much better. The new ending isn't even that great.
