Saturday Night Live is about to get a little mad.
The variety show has tapped Mad Men actress January Jones as well as actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt to host.
Jones, 31, will host the Nov. 14 episode with musical guest Black Eyed Peas. Levitt, 28, will take the reins Nov. 21, along with musical performances by Dave Matthews Band.
This is both actors' first times hosting SNL.

So, what do you think? SNL tries to get a few "up and comers" on the show, but I think they should aim for the big guns instead. Megan Fox, Ryan Reynolds, Drew Barrymore, and Taylor Swift were all more logical choices.

is it just me, or does Levitt look a lot like heath ledger? and they were in a movie together.....its scary 0.o
i think january is gonna be great, I hope for a guest apperance by lizzy moss/armisen and/or maybe jon hamm.
I'm hoping for another "big gun" to host snl.
and also it would really be fun if one of the snl alumni would come back for one show, like jimmy fallon or amy poehler.
I'm not really all that familiar with january jones or levitt..but I'm hoping to be surprised :).
I kinda wish that Daniel Radcliffe would do it, he did some funny stuff on Extras..

Anony2, Jimmy Fallon would be great! He hasn't hosted yet, but other recent alumnis like Tracy Morgan and Tina Fey have hosted.
I would say Chris Kattan, but I don't know if he has any current projects to promote. You know what alumnis also haven't hosted but should?

Innaj, Levitt was in the GI Joe movie and was on 3rd Rock From the Sun (the son). He was also in 50 Things I Hate About You. He's kept active since 3rd Rock, and got back into the public eye from GI Joe. Now he's lining up higher profile roles.

I think Daniel Radcliffe would be great, too. They should get him before he stars on Broadway again next year. Since he will be rehearsing or here, he would probably be able to swing it.... I hope!
I heard of January Jones and ''Mad Men'' but I don't really know much about her or ''Mad Men'' most likely because I don't really watch it. And I agree with Anony: Lizzy Moss (actress on the show and Fred's fionce) should make an appearance and Jon Hamm too (he hosted last season), they probably are.
I know of Jason-Gordon Levitt and is a big fan of his. Anony, your right, he does have an uncanny resemblance to Heath it is weird, but cool, not mention he is pretty cute.
''500 Days of Summer'' was such an awesome, cute, and funny movie, he is a good actor.
On your comment about SNL trying to get ''up and comers to come on''. SNL to me has always been like that to me a little bit, to try to fit in with this generation and crowd of this time, by getting rising stars and musicians, younger fresh ones especially, you see who they have: Taylor Swift, Megan Fox (you both mentioned them) and also Jonas Bros. (who to me are getting pretty tired, old, and annoying). Sometimes I think SNL tries to attract the teenage crowd in, well they attracted me already, hehe. But there doing a pretty good job, although I wish others would host.
Also I think his co-star in the movie: Zooey Deschanel should host too, she been in a lot of comedies, she funny and great too, fan of hers.
Yeah, I agree I want some SNL Alumi's to host, I think Adam Sandler should host, he should have hosted last season to promote ''Funny People''. Chris Rock. Jimmy Fallon, I miss him, but I don't think he is going to host anytime soon because of 'Late Night' :(.
Innaj: Daniel would be great and I saw that episode of extra he was on, pretty funny. Also I love HP.
I also want to see Jason Segel, and John Kransinski, some others too (can't really think of names right now).
