Wow, just as Lauren said, Andy Samberg was only in one skit this week (or only noticable in one). What a let down.
Sometimes, they plan on airing a Digital Short featuring Andy Samberg, and so they don't want to load too many skits on Andy. Then the short ends up getting cut from dress because the audience didn't laugh hard enough. This has happened in the past with a few digital shorts, including Nurse Nancy (got pot-poned three times before they aired it) and a sketch where Andy is a cop with lobster claws (never got shown on TV).
So perhaps that happened here. It seems like that might be the case seeing how there's so little of Andy in this episode and there is no digital short.
Lots of Kenan though. Grrr.
And next week is Anne Hathaway. Good, a fourth new one in a row. Come on, SNL! We need some more Andy shorts now!!! Space Olympics isn't enough!!!
Enjoy!
