Sean Anders and John Morris come from screen writing background mostly. They wrote:

Adam Sandler usually uses his regular cast of directors for his films (friends from college and SNL days; even Judd Apatow fits in that category), but they likely enjoyed Sean's previously films and wanted to give him a shot directing one of their comedies.
