Andy Samberg is among the guest stars appearing in season 2 of "Portlandia," coming to IFC in January, 2012.
Johnny Marr strums his way to "Portlandia": Speaking of guest stars, the reported famous faces expected to turn up in season 2 of "Portlandia" include Kristen Wiig, Amber Tamblyn, Jack McBrayer, Tim Robbins, Andy Samberg and Penny Marshall, in addition to Kyle MacLachlan, reprising his role as a fictional Portland mayor. Now comes word that Johnny Marr, beloved by Smiths fans for his guitar wizardry, will also appear.

I actually hadn't realized it that Portlandia was a sketch show! Fred found a nice nitch with this offbeat show!
You know, I think Fred is the only SNL cast member who's appeared on SNL and a sitcom at the same time!

i guess spin the bottle was a digital short! why didn't they put Andy in there? LOL
I thought it was a digital short at first, however it didn't say "Digital Short" before it, and Hulu doesn't put it in the same category, so I'm not sure if Andy had anything to do with that one :(
may be he directed or wrote that one? but really looks if it is a digital short!
he may have written it.. the SNL credits say someone else directed it, not even John Solomon, who has been directing the Digital Shorts this season.. but I agree, I think he had SOMETHING to do with it!
I also have a theory about why he was gone: Joanna Newsom's bday is the 18th, so he may have celebrated with her early, just a hunch

i didnt watch SNL this week but since i heard it kind of sucked i guess it doesnt matter! anyway, i did watch andys little clip thing with the headz up app or whatever and i noticed that he was wearing those little black glasses in it so it might have actually been filmed a few months ago before he got that new pair? just an assumption.
hm. what baby? it was her b-day :) birthday. he is apparently busy with all that stuff, so we have to be patient. but i still think spin the bottle was a digital short. the style and idea reminds me of any of those works! but whatever. as for Andy's absence: we got it before (like in the episode which Alec Baldwin hosted). so... let's hope that next time we see Andy in every sketch lol
haha Joanna having a baby? That's quite a theory! but I did see that pic from Donny's Boy, that was pretty cool, I really hope the trailer comes out soon! Also, why haven't there been any posts on this blog since Saturday?? :(
