2009 MTV Movie Awards: The Opener!
Leaping between scenes from Best Movie nominees 'Slumdog Millionaire,' 'Twilight,' 'The Reader' and 'Star Trek,' 2009 MTV Movie Awards host Andy Samberg lands naked in Justin Timberlake's limo before opening the show.
Reminds me of the DVD digital short that Andy Samberg did with Bill Hader (In Granpa's Movies) but with more nudity and more Justin Timberlake. I knew they'd make good use of their friendship somehow!
Digital Short: Explosions
We didn't bring Andy Samberg all the way to L.A., just so he could stand around and introduce celebs. We did it to get in his digital shorts! This first short is about movie explosions, and features Will Ferrell, JJ Abrams and about 500 others.
This is a classic! This is what they should have done with Will Ferrell on SNL. I think the dudes approached Will with digital short ideas (they mentioned in an interview that they were going to), and they agreed to save one for the MTV Movie Awards instead.
'Twilight' Spoof
Dracula punches out Teen Wolf and slam dunks in his face. That's just the beginning of Andy Samberg's take on the 'Twilight' trailer.
This is funny and just plain silly. Andy makes a great host!
Digital Short: 'Doubt: Flynn's Revenge' Video Game
When Father Flynn takes his fight violently into the pews of the cathedral, Andy Samberg and a friend agree that it, 'seems Like a bad idea for a game.
Just a silly exchange between Akiva and Andy. Nice homage to the Genesis! Too bad their audience is too young for that. =^)
Digital Short: 'Starf Leet Clown College'
After a bar fight that leaves him bloody, Chris Pine's Kirk is challenged by Bruce Greenwood's Pike to do better than his rubber chicken, whoopee cushion and clown nose.

Throw Your Hands In The Air! Andy Samberg Came To Party!
Welcome our host, who came to Hollywood prepared to throw down, hip-hop style, and let the insults fly into the celeb-packed audience, ultimately sending 'Saturday Night Live' comic Fred Armisen to rehab.
The Megan Fox bit was hilarious! I wonder if she cracked a smile later. This ended very randomly. Funny stuff.

So this actor had one job to do, and he did it very passionately! That's work ethic! =^)
Brüno Presents Best Male Performance
Flamboyant Austrian fashion reporter Brüno literally flies in to give away the Golden Popcorn for the best leading man, but misses the stage and lands on Eminem's lap, before announcing the winner while suspended above the audience.
Wow. Really? I have to agree with Eminem, "Are you kidding?" Did that really happen?
Really Sacha? Do you really think it's a good idea to piss off Eminem and his band of thugs? They really went to jail. This stuff is real.
Really MTV producers? Really? It was obvious that you went to great lengths to make that happen. You stopped Sacha right above Eminem. You lowered him down, and you even showed Eminem to get his reaction before Sacha came down on top of him. You set up Eminem.
Is it really a good idea to piss off Eminem? I'd think you'd want him on your MTV channel and shows as much as possible. What were you thinking?
Jim Carrey Wins Best Comedic Performance
Jim Carrey seems absolutely ecstatic to pick up his 11th Golden Popcorn statue (an MTV Movie Awards record!) for his role in 'Yes Man.' His inner monologue tells a different story...
Jim is hilarious. I think it helps your chance of winning when you hand MTV a tape and say, "Play this if I win." =^)
Kristen Stewart Drops The Golden Popcorn
Keeping the 'Twilight' theme of the night running strong, Kristen Stewart takes the award for her role as Bella Swan in the first installment of the vampire series, crediting author Stephanie Meyer, her castmates and 'Twilight' fans before awkwardly dropping her Golden Popcorn.
Kristen plays it cute but awkward.
