'Bruno' After-Party: Andy Samberg Dis
By Katie Bain

Celeb Factor: High. The crowd was comprised of a healthy percentage of the funniest people in entertainment and included class clown David Arquette, his hot wife Courteney Cox, the intimidating cool guys — Aziz Ansari, Jonah Hill (an associate producer on Bruno), Andy Samberg, South Park creator Matt Stone, McLovin’ Christopher Mintz-Plasse, the chaperones — Slash, Garry Shandling, Borat’s Ken Davitian, Ed Helms and of course, the homecoming king of the shindig, Sacha Baron Cohen and his pocket-sized queen/fiance Isla Fisher.
Fashion: Plenty of suits and cocktail dresses were sported, but as homecoming is to the more stylistically demanding prom, and Bruno is to, say, Public Enemies, the party was largely a dress down affair. Andy Samberg wore hipster flannel, Sacha Baron Cohen sported a blazer and baseball hat, Matt Stone was in a T-shirt and jeans, and Ed Helms looked liked the cute math teacher you kinda had a crush on in his argyle sweater.
Most Embarrassing Moment: The 15-year-old dork in me spent most of the night working up the courage to tell Andy Samberg how much I love Lonely Island and the nautical themed pashmina afghan he was wearing, (truth: that is in no way true). When I got a chance to approach, he, with the detached cool of James Spader in Pretty in Pink, blew by with a “hey” and a mildly cordial, 100 percent disinterested head nod. Brutal.

So Katie got dissed by Andy.
But Katie, Andy still acknowledged you. Plus, what if he didn't know that you were trying to start up a conversation? Not everybody who walks up to him actually has something to say. What if you were walking past him? It doesn't sound like you said anything to him.
It just seems like he might not have intended to dis you.
Enjoy!

People ask to much of "celebs" and are ready to diss back when the "star" doesn't respond with the same investment in the person who knows "all" about their life. Seriously?? I am amazed fans don't get this. It's like his last film "I Love You Man" featuring Rush and the song "Limelight" : " I can't pretend a stranger is a long awaited friend."
I wouldn't take it personally, until he walks up, demands an Evian and stomps around like a pompous idiot and claims, "who the hell are you, I'm so and so" (which I doubt he would ever do), but then, you should feel dissed and have a right to let everyone know what a caca he was. But it sounds like both of you are good, no need to feel embarrassed. :)
I'm just happy because I have been waiting for the day that we could talk about Bruno on this site too, haha. Andy Samberg and Bruno are two of my fav people!! That girl kind of depicted Andy in a negative light, but I'm just gonna tell myself she got him at a bad time or like TAE said, maybe he didn't know she was expecting a whole convo...
Plus, how monotonous and uniform it must be to get asked the same questions and give the same answers over and over and over again.
I would LOVE the chance to interview Andy myself. And ask some really aimless, insignificant questions. I think those guys have the most fun with those kind of interviews :o)
