So Andy is growing a beard. This is from 7/04/09.
Why is Andy growing a beard?
We don't know, but there could be several reasons (or a combo of a few):
1. He can't grow a beard on SNL, and he can't grow a beard for the MTV Movie Awards, and he pretty much can't grow a beard for anything in the movies or on TV. They'd make him shave it anyway. So the dude just wants to take a break from shaving.
2. If a celebrity dude grows a beard and normally doesn't have a beard (which is most celebs), then he is far less likely to get recognized. So Andy might be trying to increase his chances of being normal and anonymous a little.
3. He's growing the beard for a movie role or other role (we highly doubt this one, cuz we don't know what he'd do it for).

sometimes they do when they are going through a life change and sometimes having a change of heart (about anything), breakup, etc- that's just what i've experienced with guys, aside from the ones you've listed.....and then ofcourse, they want to look sexy and like a bad a**

Judging from the growth on the face in the picture I'd say your headline seems it doesn't need questioning...

the first anonymous - No! We dudes don't grow beards because of emotional reasons. We have no emotions! At least, not like you do. That's just a tale the ladies made up to justify our odd behavior. Usually, it's just cuz we're sick of shaving or want to try something different. Yes, we're that simple. If we ever grew beards due to emotional reasons, we wouldn't even know it!!!
