Ironically, this is usually the most boring category. "The Daily Show" won the last six awards, and before that, David Letterman walked away with it five times in a row.
Andy getting an Emmy in 2007:

This year, I'm ready to show "Saturday Night Live" the love. When Justin Timberlake hosts, it's nothing short of magic. The incomparable Kristen Wiig is still on the show, and I'm already preemptively nostalgic for the inevitable day she goes on to bigger, if not better, things. Andy Samberg has pioneered a new art form with his digital shorts, Bill Hader is funny in anything, and I have a special place in my heart for Fred Armisen. Savvy hires like Chris Elliot's daughter Abby ease the loss of Amy Poehler. Her Angelina Jolie is passive perfection.
The hosting lineup paid respect to "SNL's" roots -- Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Will Ferrell -- and jumped on of-the-moment stars such as Anne Hathaway, Hugh Laurie, Bradley Cooper and James Franco. I did miss Christopher Walken, but Lorne Michaels knows that it's important to keep us hungry for more.

Special tidbit: Akiva was nominated for 2008 as a writer of SNL. He's the only TLI member to make that list. Before that, SNL hasn't been nominated since 2003, where it enjoyed four years in a row of nominations (00-03) and 2 wins for Lorne (out of 12 wins total). So 08 (last year) might be usher in more successful years, especially if TLI makes as many music videos as they did this season. Akiva and Jorma won the Writers Guild of America award for SNL 09, so hopefully that's a good foreshadowing of the Emmys.
Not to mention that Andy and the boys should be up for an Emmy for one of their TV songs, including J*** in my Pants, I'm on a Boat, and Mother Lover.
Akiva's got 2 nominations, 1 win. Jorma and Andy have 1 nomination, 1 win. (The win is D*** in a Box, of course.)
Enjoy!
