Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis are Just Friends (SNL)

So this actually made it on SNL right after the monologue, which is typically one of the "top spots" on SNL.

Tired of being out with your friend and being mistakened as a gay couple? Try Just Friends booty shorts!

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Sarah Palin

Don't think this has been shown yet...

Sarah Palin visits Weekend Update on the night "Game Change" premiered about her vice presidential bid, only something is off this time.

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Stephen - Lord Wyndemere (SNL)

Sketch - Lord Wyndemere

Charles Barkley ... guest
Paul Brittain ... Cecil
Bill Hader ... Turlington
Bobby Moynihan ... guest
Andy Samberg ... Stephen

When the guys get together to watch the big game, Cecil shows up and has half of the party bewildered.

Hahahaha! Andy supports Paul Brittain's hilarioius Lord Wyndemere!

This is their second round of this skit.

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Rick Santorum (SNL Cold Open)

So this is probably only the second time that Andy has starred in a Cold Opening like this! (The first was when he played Britney Spears' short-term husband... can't even remember his name.)

Cold Opening - A Message From Rick Santorum

Andy Samberg ... Rick Santorum
Kristen Wiig ... announcer (voice)

Days after nearly winning the Iowa caucus, Rick Santorum talks about taking the rest of his campaign directly to the people in every corner of the country.

Okay. The food he ate (with the prank) was hilarious!

Starting a war with Iran! Nice!

Mormon death squads! Ha!

Grandchildren looking him up on Google! Nice goal!

Wow, I haven't seen a monologue like this in quite awhile. Andy nailed it!

How do you think he did? Was it funny enough?

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Convoluted Jerry (SNL Digital Short)

Enjoy songs with meanings impossible to figure out and completely contradicting? Pick up the new album from Convoluted Jerry!

So this is Andy and host, Charles Barkley.

Nothing hilarious and not really a musical digital short. I think this one is a miss.

Did you like it?

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg gets his Hanukkah song! (Jimmy Fallon SNL Monologue)

NBC had a change of heart/copyrights and posted the Jimmy Fallon SNL Monologue.

Quite a cheer when he came out!

Host Jimmy Fallon grabbed his guitar and made merry in the halls of SNL, offering songs to old friends along the way.

Holy crack in the smack!

Alright, if I didn't do it earlier, I'm going to do it now. I'm predicting that this episode will get Jimmy Fallon a nomination for best guest actor on a comedy series. Last season, Justin Timberlake (won), Zach Galifianakis, and Tina Fey were nominated for that (I was disappointed that Jim Carrey wasn't, because he was so funny).

This year I'm predicting that Jimmy Fallon will be nominated. I'm also predicting that Melissa McCarthy will be nominated this year (for Guest Actress). Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Betty White, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Timberlake all also have a shot if they host.

Anyway, Andy was hilarious as he came out with Vanessa Bayer to have a Hanukkah verse with Jimmy!

Then watch carefully at 3:36 when Andy and Vanessa run by in the background behind Jimmy! They're getting ready for the end when all the cast comes out and dances!

The crowd went nuts! Jimmy really knows how to give the audience what they want.

Check out the dances of Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, and Taran Killam... those are hilarious! I'd also expect something killer from Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis but they weren't as into it.

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg, Jimmy Fallon, & Michael Buble - SNL Promo

In case you missed it, here's a promo from the last episode. This one has Jimmy Fallon, Andy, and Buble in it.

Did you like it?

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Matt Prater in Locker Room (SNL)

Sketch - Locker Room

Bill Hader ... announcer (voice)

Jay Pharoah ... player
Andy Samberg ... Matt Prater
Jason Sudeikis ... Jesus
Kenan Thompson ... player

After yet another amazing Denver Broncos victory, Jesus stops by to to ask Tim Tebow to start playing better earlier in games.

What do you think of Jason Sudeikis' Jesus? I think it's interesting that Jason also played Satan (much more famously, in fact; 4 times on Weekend Update).

Enjoy!

Sketch - Holiday Party

Jimmy Fallon ... Freggie
Fred Armisen ... guest
Abby Elliott ... guest
Bill Hader ... guest
Andy Samberg ... Maxwell
Kristen Wiig ... Lilia

Party hosts feel compelled to sing and dance holiday tunes despite the lack of requests.

Andy's Maxwell plays lovely songs as Lilia and Freggie don't sing and dance.

The first time Kristen did this Lilia character was on 01.30.2010 with Jon Hamm. Here's a pic:

So they're adding another layer to this sketch with Jimmy's Freggie character.

Andy nails the accent!

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Nicholas Cage with Jude Law (SNL Weekend Update)

Weekend Update

Seth Meyers
Jude Law
Andy Samberg ... Nicolas Cage
Paul Brittain ... director

Nicholas Cage grills Jude Law about leaving him out of Jude's new film, "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows."

Ha! Jude Law basically just puts up with Andy here.

Enjoy!

Jimmy Fallon spits on Andy Samberg! - Jimmy Mirror (SNL)

So let's get to the bad news first. No Digital Short this week, and TLI once again misses a sweet opportunity to do an amazing musical digital short (with Katy Perry and now with Jimmy Fallon).

However, we do get some hilarious bits from Jimmy and Andy.

First, here's Andy doing his Jimmy impression as a mirror bit with the real Jimmy Fallon...

Sketch - Dressing Room: Jimmy Mirror

Jimmy Fallon
Andy Samberg ... Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy has a face-to-face chat with himself in the mirror just prior to going live.

Andy first did his Jimmy Fallon impression on the Late Night show last Christmas when Andy appeared as Jimmy's cousin, Jewey Fallon. This is the first time anyone on SNL has done a Jimmy Fallon impression.

Now my thoughts...

Hahahaha. Andy flubs the Seinfeld impression on purpose. Nice! They both shout out to Justin Timberlake.

Classic spit take!

Funny stuff! What did you like about it?

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg narrates for J-Pop America Fun Time Now! (SNL)

Show - J-Pop America Fun Time Now!

Katy Perry ... Kirstie Davenport
Fred Armisen ... Jonathan's girlfriend
Vanessa Bayer ... Rebecca Stern-Marcowitz-san
Taran Killam ... Jonathan Cavanaugh-san
Andy Samberg ... announcer (voice)
Jason Sudeikis ... Mark Kaufman

Two Japanese culture enthusiasts celebrate their passion on their campus TV channel.

Andy is the announcer, and this is the second time they've done this skit! Classic!

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Prince William (SNL with Katy Perry)

Sketch - Royal Pregnancy

Katy Perry ... Pippa Middleton
Fred Armisen ... Queen Elizabeth
Abby Elliott ... Kate Middleton
Bill Hader ... Prince Philip
Taran Killam ... butler
Jay Pharoah ... musician
Andy Samberg ... Prince William
Kenan Thompson ... musician

Queen Elizabeth and Charles pressure Kate Middleton into motherhood and take a liking to her sister, Pippa.

This is the third round of this skit where Fred plays the Queen. Andy has played Prince William in all three skits. Mike Meyers also played the Queen twice.

This skit is offensive or simply unamusing to most British (because it's stereotyping the British), but it's funny to Americans, and so they keep doing it.

Abby makes a great Kate!

What do you think? Funny or an unamusing stereotype?

Enjoy!

Andy Samberg is Rick Santorum in On the Record - SNL Cold Open

Cold Opening - On The Record

Darrell Hammond ... Donald Trump
Bobby Moynihan ... Newt Gingrich
Andy Samberg ... Rick Santorum
Kristen Wiig ... Greta Van Susteren

Greta Van Susteren welcomes Donald Trump, with the two candidates he will be moderating in a debate, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich.

This is mostly a bit between Darrel Hammond's Donald and Kristen's Greta.

The audience likes Andy, but it would be great if he did impressions of a candidate that has a bigger role in these skits.

Enjoy!
