Cloudy with a chance of meatballs… Box Office Update

The film is currently at $84,250,956... which should put it at about $115 million when all is said and done. That's decent.

However, it's not a "hit." Since the film cost $100 million to make and the studio doesn't see all the profits, they will actually be down money until the DVD sales come in.

So even though the film is a modest success, a sequel is unlikely (they should have tried making it for a smaller budget).
